Introduction
The Department of Business Studies has been offering academic courses in business studies since 1923.
At present the Department is part of the Integrated Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Leuven. It provides a BA and a MA in Business Studies, as well as a European Business Studies Programme.
The BA in Business Studies provides a structured analysis of modern business in a changing, international environment. The BA focuses on both the internal functioning of enterprises (commercial, financial, operational and organizational) and their macro-economic contexts (government policy and judicial framework, international trade, market conditions, etc.).
The MA in Business Studies consists of the following six graduate programmes building on the BA.
'European Business Studies' is an English-language programme focusing on three aspects of Europe: Integration, Culture and Business.
