Bachelor of Secondary Education is a teacher training programme to provide young people from 12 to 18 with skills, attitudes and knowledge in view of their development.
Apart from an intense theoretical training, our degree programme provides students with the necessary didactic and communicative skills in order to meet young people as coach and leader. They gain an insight in what individual problems pupils might have and learn to define a strategy to deal with these pupils. We also pay attention to class management. In this competence learning, traineeships occupy a prominent position.
The supervision is extensive and intensive.
Students are coached to develop those skills needed to become a successful secondary school teacher.
Choosing for an Erasmus program at Lessius University College means choosing for:
- Applied pedagogy (Experiential education)
