Research Areas
The research group on international business and Economics contributes to empirical research on the organization of firms, industries and markets in an international context. Multinational enterprises (MNEs) as well as small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) have to successfully operate in various -and often very different- environments.
Research is strongly focused on the development of an analytical basis that allows a better understanding and prediction of MNE and SME strategies and industry and market performance in an international context.
The research group on international business spans the domains of international management, industrial organization, international finance, innovation economics and management, political economy, and entrepreneurship.
